PLS avoid this solicitor
I would not recommend this solicitor, and would suggest you too avoid using them if you are reading this review. Dealing with solicitors can frequently be frustrating, but this experience was disappointing. Lots of basic errors were made and communication was really poor. This is unacceptable, and not professional behaviour. A couple of examples listed below: - PLS forgot to complete an essential form until three months after we had completed (the last straw that triggered this review!) - Charged us in error an extra £10k for our deposit, and didn't seem surprised or concerned they had done so. - Missed key information on documents that had legal implications for the purchase of our property. We (as two first time buyers) often had to explain what we believed the implications were to our solicitor who had otherwise missed them - Our solicitor himself (who I won't name as I don't think it is fair or constructive) frequently missed meetings without explanation. This is unacceptable when dealing with buyers who have their own working commitments to juggle. I believe he was over-worked and under supported, but a more senior member of staff should have recognised this and stepped into support where necessary
