Rude and aggressive delivery man.

I’m extremely disappointed with the experience I had during the delivery of my cream sofa set, which I paid thousands of pounds for and specifically ordered with next day delivery due to urgency. One of the delivery drivers, Vasile, behaved in an incredibly rude, aggressive, and unprofessional manner. Upon arrival, Vasile began unpacking the sofas on my driveway, removing them from their boxes and protective wrapping. Given that the sofas are cream-coloured and could easily get dirty, I asked a very reasonable and simple question: “Are you going to unpack them and then bring them in?” I did not issue any demands or speak out of turn I merely asked a question out of concern for the condition of the furniture I had just purchased. To my shock, Vasile responded with hostility, raising his voice and saying he wouldn't bring the sofas in at all. He even attempted to reload the sofas back into the van, threatening to cancel the delivery entirely. I was left stunned and in tears I could not believe that a customer asking a basic question about her delivery would be treated this way. Thankfully, the second delivery driver was calm and professional and had to speak to Vasile in their own language to get him to proceed with the delivery. If not for this second driver’s intervention, my delivery would not have been completed at all. This situation caused me significant emotional distress and completely ruined what should have been an exciting delivery of a major purchase. I strongly urge the company to review this individual’s conduct no customer should be made to feel intimidated or upset in their own home over a delivery, especially after spending a substantial amount of money. Vasile’s behaviour was unacceptable and unprofessional, and I hope action is taken to ensure other customers are not subjected to the same treatment. To make matters worse, one part of the sofa was missing. The professional driver explained that this was due to two labels being mistakenly placed on a single box, meaning the missing box hadn’t been accounted for during packing or loading it’s clear the company needs to take much more care when organising and dispatching deliveries. That said, this issue almost feels minor compared to the ordeal I went through with Vasile. I sincerely hope this company reviews the conduct of its staff and improves both delivery handling and customer service. No one should be treated the way I was especially not after spending a significant amount of money and trusting a company to deliver both a product and a professional experience.
