SHOCKING SERVICE AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Here's our experience of yds Both me and my husband booked a consultation at the wakefield branch. Receptionists were very polite and greeted us well. We went into our consultation and I came out with a quote of 19,995 and decided against it straight away. The dentist who saw my husband said he felt his case was too complex and the co ordinator of the wakefield branch arranged another consultation for him with a "better" dentist than the previous one. We went along to the consultation where the dentist said my husbands front 4 teeth needed removing and a 4 teeth bridge fitting along with 2 crowns (one at either side) and a root canal refferal done by a specialist. My husband decided to go ahead with treatment at the price of 7,000 and supposed to have a couple of free hygiene appointments which were never done. Fast forward to the appointments First appointment was a root canal which went absoloutley fine and moulds taken for his temporary teeth Second appointment was his 4 front teeth taking out and a tooth at either side shaved down ready for crowns. Upon waiting 4 weeks for a bridge making it came to fitting and the dentist was happy to fit leaving an awful orange line on his gums, therefore we said we wasn't happy and asked for it changing.we was told around a two weeks wait for it to be back but they had no appointment for over 3 weeks, at this point after numerous problems along the way we decided my husband no longer wanted to have treatment with this surgery after being made promises and them never been kept.within an hour of making the call we had a phone call from reception saying the dentist would like to see us in person to explain things, we went along and nothing really changed. In the mean time whilst waiting for the bridge he has had 2 more dentist consultations who insist the wrong treatment was being carried out and my husband and wasting 7,000 for a bridge that would last no more than a year and found out his bones were too weak therefore would minimise his chance of implants. This has now resulted in him needing a sinus lift, bone graft etc and going down the implant route with a different surgery. Appointments on some occasions were very rushed due to the dentist running behind and having to get the next client in and out. The dentist we was using only worked at the practice 2 days a week which if we had of known before we would of never gone with yds. Lastly the sales assistant will say/offer free whitening or hygeine cleans to get funds upfront there and then. We paid so much cash and so much finance.after much backwards and forwards and us constantly pushing Yds have refunded some of the finance but it has still cost us in the region of 3,200 for one root canal, 4 teeth extracting and one tempory 4 tooth block which is absoloutley extortinate, Shocking service and would not recommend to anyone.
