CLAIMS GO IGNORED FOR OVER 6 MONTHS
AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I have been waiting for an email response from the claims company that Direct Travel Insurance use (CSA) for 6 months now. We submitted a claim after my partner contracted Covid abroad, which supposedly is covered in the policy, and have only just received a response to our claim submission. Frustratingly the email requests us to send all of the documentation that we have already sent! CSA clearly have terrible reviews on Trust Pilot so I am shocked that Direct Travel Insurance would use such an incompetent company. Trust Pilot indicates that most people have referred CSA to the Ombudsman due to a lack of response/refusal to pay out! Despicable level of service from a supposedly trusted insurance provider.
