Today I waited 2 hours on the phone with no answer.
Today I I got an online quote for travel insurance, but could proceed no further as I was asked to phone to confirm details regarding pre-existing conditions. I waited for 2 hours on the phone, on hold, being told I would be answered as soon as possible. I then hung up. I tried calling again later in the day but choosing a different option - not for a new claim, but to amend one and my call was answered immediately. Waiting 2 hours with no answer to my call is totally unacceptable. There should be a system which informs a customer where they are in the queue and how long they will have to wait. I have been buying travel insurance for many years from Staysure and feel this is an ignorant way for Staysure to treat it's customers. The service I received once I was able to speak to a representative, was excellent. It is just a shame that I had to go through the frustration of a 2 hour wait with no result. This will certainly make me think about only choosing Staysure for quotes in the future.
