FedEx Ground in Chicago - an absolute nightmare. 1. Always late. Never trust a vendor who claims they sent something "expedited" if they used FedEx Ground. 2. "Out for delivery" might mean it's delivered in a few days 3. "Pending" - if you see this, the package is either lost or sitting on a truck for the weekend. It usually takes 48-72 hours for this to be resolved. Unless the "Pending" status started on a Wednesday, then you'll wait until Monday at the earliest. 4. "No scheduled delivery date available at this time" - after a full week since it was shipped from California, we now don't have any information. It's not lost, per se, but it's not exactly in their possession in a way that they can find it. 5. They will not buzz the door of a condo/apartment. No way. It'll be placed on the sidewalk outside your building.
