Halfords let me down again
I ordered two products on line for click and collect at Sheffield Kilner Way store. Both were available and I was told they would be available after an hour. I also paid in full and immediately. I then get confirmation emails etc to show the order is being processed. Alittle later I get another email saying I’ll be getting a refund and will be contacted by Halfords to explain why. I havent been contacted you can’t contact the store direct so I rang the number on the website and spoke to someone who didn’t sound like they were based in the UK, poor call quality etc. She confirmed that my order was cancelled but couldn’t tell me why. I expressed concern that when I placed my order the stock was available as the only reason she could offer was no stock. This has happened to me before with this particular store and clearly Halfords accept orders and lead you to believe that items are available when they clearly aren’t I won’t be using them again as they are frankly hopeless and disingenuous.
