Earlsfield Jacksons - Poor communication, lack of empathy

I would not recommend Jacksons Proprty as your proprty management service, both for a landlord and tenant. We were excellent tenants, took really good care of the flat (provided some upgrades that we paid for) and garden, to then be notified that we were being kicked out on my due date (yes I was pregnant). I asked Laura, our property manager,(even begged her) to speak to the landlord and ask whether we could stay a little longer and she told us that the landlord said no and would unlikely change their mind... strange that you have to beg to get your property manager to email the landlord but anyways she did. After a lot of back and forth we managed to get to an agreement to stay longer if we paid more (ofcourse). It took months to get a correct contract to sign so we still feared something would happen and never felt at ease up until a couple of weeks before my due date. Communication was poor, we felt like dirt although like I said we were excellent tenants. We put a lot of effort to clean the property with our cleaning lady and it was cleaner than the day we moved in but we were still charged a deep clean of almost 300£. On top of that, we were charged new locks after sending the keys back because they told us one was missing but those were the ones we received. We never had the chance to check the property because before we even knew it, the locks were already being changed.. No rush to get us a proper contract and put our mind at ease, but everything for them had to be done NOW and IMMEDIATELY. Like I said, our property manager and her communication skills need a lot of work. Selfish and lack of empathy is how I would sum it up. Hope you have better luck if you have to work with them.
