Good enough drink, terrible customer service.
I've been using Moju drinks ginger shots everyday for the last 9 months. As i have a Gout disease, i got recommended to take more ginger and get a better diet. So far, the juice it's fine and since i started drinking it, my gout is softer. However, i took a step further and applied for a subscription in their own website two months ago. Things went wrong since the very beginning: I can understand that the website is under construction or that is a low budget one, or whatever. Its understandable even when the process on the website to get your subscription is pretty tough. But then if you want to modify anything you need to contact the customer service. I still understand that, So i sent an email to sort it. I've asked to get 4 bottles per month and everything seemed fine. After 2 months i've realised that i was stockpiling bottles and i was concerned about not having the chance to finish them. I've asked for a delay in the order. The answer was a joke, they said that my commitment is every 3 weeks and they cannot cancel/amend the order. I've sent a screenshot of the person who took my subscription confirming that it was 4 weeks. (They made a mistake on scheduling the deliveries) So that was the reason of me having an insane amount of juice at home. I can understand a human mistake, but the process went worse after that. Then they apologized on the email and said they were offering me a 10% discount for the next delivery. And my answer was quite happy for getting some positive feedback. Also, ive asked please to cancel or delay this delivery as i am not supposed to take more than a shot per day, i don't want to bin anything and i don't want obviously pay for their mistakes. They didn't answer for two days and i've received the juices and got charged for what i've specially asked not to. Then i've sent an email asking for some explanations because the bottles arrived in poor conditions (some grease over them, slime or i dont know what it was, that they said is normal and its nothing to worry - i said its fine). And also complaining about being charged for this and being delivered when asked not to. The answer from the lady was incredible. She took exactly 5 minutes to answer me. (im pretty sure she delayed the previous email answer to carry on the process) So the answer was anything but satisfactory. She only offered me the 10 % discount, and the attitude was not willing to solve the problem or retain the customer. So she cancelled my subscription with more ease than anything else. I don´t understand why a company wants to get rid of a customer that pays 40 quid a month, with no intermediates, specially when theyre a growing business. For me it is a joke as every bottle cost 8 quid. now i have 3 bottles to throw in the bin and a headache caused by a stupid issue that could be easily solved only delaying an order. If i subscribe is to don't have to deal with this kind of problems and to ease the buying process. Of course we are all humans and i'm only expecting the mistakes being fixed. My deep concerns are of course the feedback was so unprofessional and careless as never seen before. I felt not respected at all and treated like if i was stupid or asking for nonsense things. It's a pity as it seems that the company tries to have some ethics at least in their marketing campaings. But doesn't make sense to me to show off you're environmental friendly and then make your customers to throw your product because you don't want to deal with your stock issues. As i said before, the juice is pretty good, but nothing you cannot get from another company or make at home. There's no secret here, so if the company wants to make a clear difference they should care about their clients, at least at the same level they say in the marketing. I'm writing this review to help them improve their company, as i'm pretty sure this doesn't match with their ethics. Their marketing is pretty good, the product is great and they deserve at least professionals that can deal with simple demands, because with no customers theres no business.
