A fantastic watch, and a great company to deal with
I initially visited Watches of Whitby last year. At the time I was strictly window shopping. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and indulged me when I asked to try on a few pieces. I made a mental note to use them when I was ready for my next purchase. Fast forward to a fortnight ago. I made an enquiry about a watch that I had been looking for. They didn't have the model in stock but took my details and promised to call me when one was available. On Wednesday, my phone rang, a Whitby area code! They had the watch in stock! A deposit was taken to secure it, the balance was taken in the afternoon, and as I type this it's on my wrist and looking fab. The buying experience from start to finish was professional, friendly and generally as much fun as you can have when making a big purchase. My new Rolex arrived in perfect condition with everything you would expect from new. (It also came with a valuation for insurance purposes, along with a certificate from the Watch Register to show a clean history). Delivery was arranged for a day of my choosing, and the packaging was bomb proof. Rest assured when I'm on the lookout for my next watch, Watches of Whitby will be the first port of call. If you're in that neck of the woods I'd also suggest calling in; as the shop is immaculate, and the staff are super polite and helpful. Thanks again to the staff who were excellent from start to finish, it was pleasure to give you all of my money! :)
