Terrible delivery service
The delivery provider did not follow the advance instructions I provided on how to find our house. They called from the wrong location saying they couldn’t access the house, despite being nowhere near where my house is (it was another 20mins before they eventually arrived from the wrong direction). They then told me that they couldn’t deliver the sofa because it wouldn’t fit - without even attempting to get it inside. I was told they were phoning their boss to say they couldn’t make delivery. I live in a reasonably sized modern detached house that already has had numerous 3 seater sofas delivered without issue. I felt very upset at the attitude and being faced with having bought an expensive sofa from a premium retailer that I was being told they weren’t going to bring it inside. I had already measured before ordering the sofa so I knew it would fit. I had to plead with them to unwrap and bring the item in which they eventually did with absolutely zero problem getting it inside. I’m really unhappy about this service, it’s the worst furniture delivery I have ever experienced and will put me off ordering furniture items from Anthropologie in the future.
